At our next Rally morning, Mel Wiggins will join us to open up a conversation about what it means to be an ‘good influence’; online, in business and as global citizens. As the concept of ‘influence’ (hashtag ad) seems to be increasingly watered down, Mel will share stories and research that offer solutions. The coffee will be hot and the discussion will be lively as we explore what it means to reclaim ‘influence’ in our current consumer climate.
Mel Wiggins is a writer and activist from Portadown. She writes regularly on her blog and for other publications on ethical living and courageous womanhood. Mel is the founder of the Assembly Community – hosting gatherings, soulful sessions and a supportive online members community for women in Ireland and beyond. Mel also coordinates Freedom Acts – a community project working to prevent exploitation and trafficking in Northern Ireland.
