The impact of social media on the female body image

The event goal is to bring together bright minded women in order to discuss the impact of social media on the female body image . 

But also to raise awarenes on the Global Fund for Women, one of the world’s leading foundations for gender equality, standing up for the human rights of women and girls and a non-profit organization as the Long board girls crew.  The event registration fee is in benefit of both organizations.

Laura Jordan is a stylist, image consultant and owner of the irish style consultancy StyleSavvy®. She advises a number of industry leading organisations on their Professional Image and Personal Brand online, as well as speaking to many Secondary School students on the pressures of social media. Laura is a fashion contributor with WeekendAM on Virgin Media One and lectures in Image Consultancy, Fashion Styling and Trend Forecasting at Dublin Institute of Design.
